North Branch of the Manistee Traditional Cache

The North Branch of the Manistee river starts in Kalkaska County and runs into the main branch near the logging ghost ton of Sharon. The intersection ofthe North Banch, main branch and Cannon Creek has lent Sharon it's original name of "Jamb One" (which was turned down by the postal service). The logs from these three rivers converged to form a log jab that took days and day of dangerous log walking and poling to clear up.
