This Michigan Flash Mob event is one of 83 taking place around the world as part of the World Wide Flash Mob (WWFM). Come take part in this zany, 15 minute, geocaching event.

Saturday, November 10, 2007 will be the day hundreds, if not thousands, of geocachers mob together, around the world, as part of the World Wide Flash Mob event. This event is one of 81 similar events taking place around the world.

What is a flash mob?

Like many geocaching events there will be a log to sign in on, swag to trade, trackables to trade, an event meal, and some zany activities, all in the span of 15 minutes.

This event will be taking place at exactly 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 10, 2007 in Kellogg Park in downtown Plymouth, Michigan. It will end at exactly 12:15 PM.

To make this flash mob work well, come to Plymouth early. There is plenty to do, places to shop, eateries to eat at. Find a good parking spot and stroll around. Then, at exactly 12:00 noon, rain, snow, or shine, an orange bucket will be set down in the middle of Kellogg Park. This act will signify the start of the event. Please do not enter the park until 12:00 noon.

Time will be kept by GPSr. Everyone's should be in sync from the satellites. An event card must be signed for this event to be logged online! The schedule of activities will updated, so check this page often.

9:00 AM EST
-Head to the Westland Eat, Meet & Greet, hosted by The Seegert Seekers, for morning vittles and tall tales.

11:30 AM-ish EST
-Head to the WWFM Michigan Flash Mob Event. Park where legal. Streets border all three sides of the park. Walk around on the sidewalks, in front of stores, BE A MUGGLE!

12:00 noon EST

The orange bucket will be for collecting log cards. Please fill out the log card and place it in the bucket. An event card must be signed for this event to be logged online!

-Attendees meet and greet; trade swag and trackables as desired. A trackables and swag table will be set up for the event.

12:04 PM EST
-Event meal will be Oreos served family style.

-Attendees continue to sign log cards and place them in the orange bucket.

-Attendees continue to meet and greet; trade swag and trackables as desired. A trackables and swag table will be set up for the event.

12:07 PM EST
-Group photo: Being a flash mob there will not be time for much set up. Listen/watch for directions. SLT will take an "official" picture with a point-and-shoot camera. Others are welcome to take pictures. (If someone else wants to take the "official" picture, please do. SLT is not a professional photographer and volunteers are welcome.)

12:10 PM EST
-Event game: Geocoin raffle from all submitted logs at this point in the event. (I looks to be three geocoins up for grabs)
