This is a great place to take the dog or the children. It's also a
nice place to stop and have lunch or to enjoy a beautiful day
outside.
When you go to this park, you may notice the absence of the pond
and wonder why it is called "Lily Pond". As it turns out, there is
no pond (at least not any more). I was told by one native that they
used to flood this area in the winter and the local children would
go and skate on it.
The area is still a bit marshy in places, but the boardwalks
will help you get through the park in those places. If you go to
this cache during a wet time of year, do not wear your best shoes,
as the ground can be wet in some places.
The coordinates should get you pretty close-the gps was a bit
jumpy due to tree cover. Use the clue to help you.
