This cache is situated on the Cistercian Way which is a 33 mile walk along the paths, tracks and byways of the low hills of Carboniferous Limestone that fringes the northern shores of Morecambe Bay. It is around the Swarthmoor Hall area which is an impressive example of Elizabethan architecture (well worth a visit), where in 1652 George Fox the founder of the Quaker movement stayed. Nearby is a Woodland trust area called Swarthmoor Hall Wood. Suggested parking would either be in Swarthmoor its self or in Ulverston.
