This will be CITO number THIRTEEN in Lake County, and for fall we're going to get another path clean! The goal is to make this pleasant for folks who will be using it during the winter.
GONIL is an official participant in the Adopt-A-Road program in Lake County, and we will meet in the parking lot at the posted coords, at 9:30 am to sign the log. Please ONLY meet at the posted coords - other locations will tow you (for example, the Police Department or Orphans of the Storm). We will then head out to the path. The clean-up should take about 90 minutes (less if we have a lot of folks, more if only a few).
Bring gloves and your own trash picker-uppers. Garbage bags and safety vests will be provided by the county. If you have any 5-gallon buckets (like the orange ones from the local home improvement stores) bring them along; they are really handy for collecting trash and then putting it into the trash bags.
We also plan on a few fun raffle items, which will be available for all ON-TIME attendees. Be there BEFORE 9:30 and get your raffle ticket!!!
There are some caches located along or near the path as well as others in the general vicinity so bring your GPSr!
