A unique spot after a great hike in the woods.
This section of the Sparta Mountain Edison area is notorious for signal bounce. Maybe it's all the ore in the rock, who knows. This cache placement totally tries to take advantage of that to increase the difficulty of your search. The cache is a large ammo can.
This cache is designed to be a bit more of a challenge. When you reach the cache location, you will certainly find yourself amongst the rocks with hundreds of potential hiding locations. Certainly not the place you want bounce.
Once you have found it, sit back and enjoy the location and the view. You will have earned it. Take a short walk down the trail and check out the wrecked FJ Cruiser at N41 04.289; W074 33.487.
This cache is located in the Sparta Mountain WMA, wear orange when in season for hunting. There is no hunting allowed on Sundays so that might be your best bet. There is lots of wildlife in the area, know what to do and how to behave and it will be an enjoyable encounter. Bring your camera.
