A bison tube is hidden near the Queen Lane Filters of the Philadelphia Water Department. Just off the street near the intersection of Queen Lane & Henry Avenue.
For the 1968 - '70 seasons, at least once in each episode of the hit TV show "Rowan and Martins Laugh In", Judy Carne would shout "Sock it to me" Invariably, this would be followed by a deluge of water, drenching her and cueing the laugh track.
But it would be no laughing matter for the East Falls Neighborhood if the Queen Lane Filters, one of Philadelphia's three water treatment plants, sprung a leak. We'd get really drenched!
As the filters have stood solid for over a century, there's little danger this cache will get flooded, although once in a while there's a chlorine leak.
Park along Queen Lane, climb up to the fence, note the granite stonework and admire the view of the Center City skyline.
The cache is placed near the south west corner of the water works.
