Geocache Description:

Welcome to the most "watched cache" listing on the Miura Peninsula!
The easiest approach to this cache is a 10 minute shoreline walk from where the road ends (if arriving by car) or a 30 minute walk from the last bus stop. The shoreline to the cache is very large & safe or can be approached from the plateau/ridge.

This beautiful cape & shoreline is made of interesting rock formations & tidepools that can occupy your interest for hours. Access can be made at several points along this shoreline up to the plateau/ridge trail (where the BambooLand cache is hidden and hobbyists fly their remote control gliders).
This cache was hidden during Golden Week when many vacationers were picnicking and enjoy a day by the seaside. There are many things to see and do on the island and nearby town so hopefully you can spend the whole day and enjoy as much as possible. There is plenty of wonderful fresh seafood and drinks available on the west/tourist side of the island but take water and picnic with you if exploring the expansive east side/plateau or beaches of the island.
This small tupperware-style cache contains a little capsule with a fortune, a folding plastic spoon, logbook & pen.
