FTF Prize: Two tickets to the Iowa State Fair.
The cache is not large enough to hold the tickets so we will either deliver or mail the tickets to the winner.
We are avid Iowa State Fair goers and have long hoped to place a geocache on the grounds. Hope you enjoy the Fair as much as we do.
This cache will take you to eight different plaques around the Iowa State Fair which you will use to answer questions that will ultimately give you the coordinates to the final cache. The Iowa State Fair general manager would not allow the final to be placed on the grounds because he was concerned about the "liability of having a physical location" on the grounds. It is located very close to Fair property (with owner permission) and is within easy walking distance. Please use extreme geo-stealth while retrieving the cache. If the cache does get muggled during the fair, you may claim a find after e-mailing us a detailed description of ground zero.

Access to the information plaques around the Iowa State Fairgrounds is limited to the hours of the Fair. The Fair is open from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 A.M. The 2009 Iowa State Fair will run from August 13th thru August 23rd. After the Fair, the grounds are open to the public from approximately 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M.
