It is Earthcache day!  This is the start of Earth Science Week so the Earthcache community wanted to celebrate!  Don't know the difference in igneous, metamorphic or sedimentary?  How about mechanical and chemical weathering?  What is root pry anyway?

Heard of river kettles?  How about alluvium?  Cross bedding?  That sounds too inappropriate for a family.  These and many other tems will have the shroud of mystery removed.  Come, explore the park, learn some basic tips and tricks to earth science.

There will be a NEW Earthcache unveiled at this event.  Learn how to 'spot and earthcache' and submit one for approval.

To top it all off, the Geological Society of American (GSA) and Earthcache.org are sending a box of goodies and give aways.

Bring a picknic basket (Yogi may be there to snatch a goodie or two) to share, come for the fellowship and get your earth science questions answered.
