We were supposed to go almost due south, exactly 3117 meters at a bearing of 184.46 degrees, where we were to drop it at N 37 12.605, W 121 52.340. Many hours later, we stopped, exhausted, to find out that we had gone in exactly the wrong direction, and our navigator had made a tiny little error with the decimal point; we had gone ten times as far as we were supposed to!
So we dropped the depth charge right where we were. Well, it turns out we were very close to being in range of a high-value target! Not quite, though. Maybe you can do better.
