Everybody Do The Chicken Dance!

As most of our friends in the Upstate know, Cache-n-Kerry and I are big hockey fans. We met at a Greenville Grrrowl tailgate party, and our friendship grew from there.

Between my proposal to her in front of over 5000 fans at center-ice during a game intermission, to our hockey tail-gate party wedding with all our friends and family, we have had a blast doing this dance over and over again. As a matter of fact, we have done the Chicken Dance so often between periods at games, that it only seemed natural for our wedding dance to have been the Chicken Dance, too!

Which brings us to the cache…

This location was a favorite stop for us on most evenings when we would head out to see our beloved Greenville Grrrowl play. We have had some fun times together, and continue to do so to this day.

We want folks to have as much silly fun as we do.

So, this cache is pretty much a run-of-the-mill-micro-log-only-bring-your-own-pen-kind-a cache…
with *one* big twist!

You can claim a single smiley for finding the cache, and signing the log.

Yeah…that's it.

But…if you REALLY want to have some fun, then brush up your dancing skills and find yourself a partner. Now is the time to earn your extra smileys, and have a little fun, too!

You can claim up to four additional finds for posting photos of you doing the Chicken Dance anywhere near the cache location.

How you get these photos is up to you, but there are friendly folks and picnic tables nearby to help with your camera, if need be.

We want to see you doing each one of the steps:

Chicken *Beak,* Chicken *Wings,* Chicken *Tail-Feathers,* and the Chicken *Promenade.*

Each position allows you to take credit for one additional find, for a grand total of FIVE smileys for just this one cache!

You say that you don't know how to do the Chicken Dance?

Click on this link and follow me…

1. Anyone who's not chicken, stand in a circle facing each other.
2. When the music starts, hold your hands out in front of you and open and close them like a chicken beak four times.
3. Put your thumbs in your armpits and flap your wings four times.
4. Place your arms and hands like the tail feathers of a chicken and wiggle down to the floor four times.
5. Clap four times.
6. Repeat steps 1-5 four times. After the fourth time take the hands of the people on either side of you and everyone move in a circle. Promenade!
7. When you get dizzy, switch directions.
8. Repeat until the end of the music or until you fall down!

Laugh, grin, and have fun!
