I have hidden a second cache along this impressive stretch of
shoreline bordering the New Rochelle/Pelham NY area. I was striving
to place a cache in City Island but was met with failure as most of
the places where beach access had been available is now closed
off.
I found this beautiful little park on the drive back and was
impressed with the views of the sound and the accessability.
Some picnic tables, bring a lunch. Better yet head up the street
a ways (see map) & hit my other sea side cache in New
Rochelle!

If you do this cache during the summer to early fall you can
stop at the clam bar about 1/2 mile N of this park for clams &
burgers. Place is a local institution.
Cache is hidden off the park proper, no bushwacking is involved.
Please be sure to rehide as found & beware of civilians who
might see.
Container is a 32 oz clear container with a screw on top (please
screw on tightly) painted black/mottled white to blend in with the
environment.
Cache starts off with (appropriately) some light up sea
creatures, some small Coast Guard men figures, some shark action
keychains, a spy scope & for the 1st finder: a glass Xmas
ornament of a satellite (could be a GPS satellite!). Also some
other goodies.
