Geocache Description:

When I hiked out to find all the caches in the north end of Pleasanton Ridge a few months ago, I discovered that there was a big loop of trail that was still cache-less! Now I have remedied that. Be prepared for a long hike, though.

As the name implies, this cache is placed along the Loop Trail. I got here by way of the North Ridge trail and the Shady Creek trail, but it's also accessible from the Sinbad Creek trail. I must say the North Ridge trail offers some nice views but appears to get very little traffic, since it is very narrow and grassy in some places.

The cache is a large camo-taped plastic jar. The hint should make it very easy to find, if needed. (My philosophy is that if you've hiked this far to get to a cache, it shouldn't be too difficult to find.) I doubt too many young kids will be hiking all the way out there, but if you enjoy trading there were a few kiddie items included.

There's also a log book and pen, of course. Enjoy the hike!
