This is a moving cache. The cache was first released Dec 20, 2002. When you find the cache, you get to move it and then post the coordinates of where you left it.
This cache can be found more than once but once you find the cache, you cannot go for the cache again until two other people have found it.... get it?
There is a log in the cache and there may be a trade item or two. If you're going to trade, trade small. Post what you took, but DO NOT post what you put in....get it?
The cache should always be hidden "in plain sight."
Please keep this cache in CVC area [San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Merced, Calaveras, Tuolumne and Mariposa Counties)]. At no time may this cache leave the country.
Key points to remember when hunting and logging this cache.
- Leave some sign that you took it - a teepee of little sticks to show where it was, for example
- Move it to a new location and mark the coordinates
- File your find log - include the coordinates of where you left it
- As soon as you find it, hide it and then log it as quickly as reasonably possible
- Include a difficulty rating to be nice (being nice is optional)
- Keep it in the CVC (Central Valley Cachers) area
- If for some reason it leaves the area with you, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to get it back within the assigned boundaries.
- No group finds. The first in the group to find it gets to log it. (It has to be a different location and the next to find can't help you hide it prior to their find)
- Holding this cache for over three days or taking it outside the assigned area are direct violations of the CVC Tag rules and punishable by Group installed Tar and Feathers!
