Date: Friday, July 25th
Time: 8:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.
Location: Winthrop University Tillman Hall
The Legend:
Our journey will begin on the steps of historic Tillman Hall at Winthrop University. During that time, we will be given a private tour of the oldest and most historic building on campus. During this guided tour, we will have an opportunity to see of the hidden secrets of the building from the Prisoner's stocks in basement, the historic lobby area, and even tour the campus’ active bell tower.
The Lore:
Part of the tour will allow us a chance to explore some of the eerie un-used portions of Tillman Hall. We will hear detailed accounts of the haunted history and lore of ghost sightings. Some of the stories date back to as recently as last fall. Please use parental discretion as this tour may not be advisable for small children. Also, you may want to bring a flashlight since the un-used portions of the building will not have lighting.
Our event will finish up back out on the steps with some typical geo-fellowship and all attendees will be given a special edition Winthrop coin.
