A Narrow Discovery
The Lower Narrows of the Baraboo River features a very scenic and unique geological feature of the Baraboo Range. Historically, The Narrows was probably cut by a preglacial river before the last ice age some 12,000 years ago. The area is quite scenic and supports several rare and uncommon species including maidenhair spleenwort and eastern prickly-pear cactus.
The cache itself is very easy to find, and is great for beginners. Definitely a park’n grab. You are looking for a small plastic spice jar. There is a Presidential Dollar Coin in the cache for the FTF. Stop by and enjoy the scenic view.
Permission to place this cache was given by Mike Roberts, from Wisconsin DOT.
