Geocache Description:

This is an off road multi cache with 3 film container offsets and an Ammo can Cache full of the usual stuff.

With the “Compound” closed down to all off-road activity in Palm Bay, this area is not known by many, but is one of the last areas to actually off road at located in Melbourne. This location has an area for all your different terrain needs, from mud, to sugar sand, to water crossings to trail riding…this location has it all! During the weekend the flats is a very busy place. Please be-careful while exploring the trails due to all the Airboat, 4 wheeler, and off road activity.
Due to the varying terrain, (Bring your BOAT, Jeep, 4x4 or 4 wheeler) I would NOT recommend trying this cache in a car. There is a water crossing so you might want to bring a vehicle with alot of ground clearance. Staying on the trails I covered 6 miles placing the cache. On one of the offsets you will need to be a little creative to retrieve the container.
Also this is a natural Florida area so watch for Gators!
Because of the area, we made the Difficulty a 3 and the Terrain a 3.5. It’s dry out there right now but during the rainy season I might up the terrain to a 4.5 or 5.

While placing the cache this-morning around 8:30am two White Tail Deers jumped across in front of the Geo-bug and were gone by the time I got the camera out.
