Easy day hike, overnight, or as a through hiker completing this section of the Wonderland Trail; 4 miles one way, 2100 ft elevation gain; no horses, no bikes, suitable for children who can hike the distance.
The coordinates for this "Leave No Trace" virtual cache are for the Fryingpan Trailhead next to the Fryingpan Creek bridge. Take 410 to the White River/Sunrise Entrance.
This is a very popular day hike. I completed this hike twice, both times staying the night at Summerland Camp. A backcountry wilderness permit is required for overnight camping. Use designated sites. Beware of the wildlife. They own the place and are eager to prove it. A domineering, chubby-cheeked gray squirrel stole my trail mix. We nick-named him fat-boy.
To claim this cache, find these locations, take a photo with your GPS in the shot and log them here to prove you were there:

As always, placement of physical caches within National Park boundaries is against Federal Law. Physical caches, log books, etc will be removed by the Park Service.
Have a fun time.
