CABO CACHE Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

garri: Hola

Geocache Description:

CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico - the end of the West Coast as We Know It

Well.. its an easy cache to walk to.. up a hill and find the spot. From here you can see the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean. From here you can also fall down a cliff into some really nasty cacti so walk carefully. Bring your camera for a few kodak moments

The area is pretty well used by the locals, so the cache is actually completely out of sight under some rocks. It is just past the boundary marker of private land , and I will upload a photo to show exactly where it is (once you hike there you should have no problem). Your only real problem will be the logistics of getting there.. come from the coast side (Pacifico) and you will have an 'interesting' hike. Come from the City side and you will have some fences to go around. Either way and if it is a hot day you will be happy I didn't go all the way to the top.

Anyway.. as if you didn't have anything else to do while you were in Cabo San Lucas, now you can actually go find a little tupperware box that contains:

    1) A log book and pen (of course)
    2) A baseball whistle (wheeeeee)
    3) A 30 peso phone card - unused.. so you can immediately call home to brag about finding the cache.. Well - right after you climb down off of that hill...
    4) A small American flag on the bottom of the container - facing out.. (national pride and all that)
    5) The standard geocache note.

After you find it,.... wander down to one of the internet cafe's and post the find.. like I am doing right now...

The photos will be in place next week when I return...until then you have a bit more of a challenge.

I will return here next year and check the cache... til then if it disappears or has a problem, hopefully the next person will fix it.

adios....

gil
