Geocache Description:

Multicache mayhem set around Exeter Reserve, easy terrain ,police protection optional!

This cache hunt is set to commemorate the time, about 10 years ago, when this very reserve was the subject of an armed offenders alert . A person was seen entering the park carrying what appeared to be a gun.The place was cordened off and we could see from our house men in black moving in with the police helicopter circling overhead giving directions.--Scary!

Your mission is to re-enact the ensuing manhunt & move thru the park finding the various caches to the final cache where all will be revealed as to what really happened all that time ago.( written in the back of the log book)

Cache contents will reflect the event, hopefuly no real weapons left please.

Final Cache's contents were-- Log/pencil/sharpnr. FTF--Commando figurine 2 stun grenades (party poppers) set of handcuffs helicopter

ALL WAYPOINTS IN LOGS ARE THE LAST NO.s for the co-ordinates The default location is S36 45.000 E174 43.000

Start of Manhunt begins, imagine you are the armed offender squad & you have been given the task of securing this bush & flushing out the suspect (who maybe armed & dangerous)You are in radio contact with Police helicopter hovering above.

WPNT1--Discover that the suspect has already ditched a weapon, your mission is to find the weapon & on it will be info as to suspects escaping direction

WPNT 2--Arriving at fork in path, which way to go? Helicopter radios in to say suspect has been sighted on the trail ahead & gives you bearing & distance.-- Find clues in small sistema container(well camo'd) in fork---Dont take battery (ballast)& please secure cache back in place with tool provided.

WPNT3--Ahead of you suspect has run into another armed offenders squad & is now doubling back in your direction, has left clue to final cache at this position in another small container.Go back down trail towards fork & turn left at fork towards the final cache (dont go over field as you may compromise your position)

WPNT4--final cache is a 1 litre sistema container camo coloured with log book & mission result at back of log. EPE maybe vague due to tree cover.
Armed with the intelligence you have secured, you will de-brief by emailing me with the information & I will place a note on your log verifying the result.

Hope you had as much fun as we did in creating this event------Glyn
