Geocache Description:

Suitable car parking can be found in the visitors centre, where light refreshments may be obtained and a detailed description of the geology of the area and the history of the dam can be found.

This cache is part of a series of five famous lakes/reservoirs located in North Wales. These multi-caches comprise of a 35mm film canister leading onto a regular sized ammo box. Each box contains a clue, leading to a sixth lake which is not quite so famous but nevertheless well worth a visit.
The co-ords given above are for the micro cache, in the micro cache you will find the co-ords for the regular sized plastic box.
From the visitors centre head for the dam to find the micro, after you have found the micro continue on around the lake to the co-ords given in the micro. This is not the exact location! With the rock behind you head into the forest.
