Depending on where you find your information some maps refer to this fire road and hiking trail as Mandeville or Westridge. This is one of several places where the fire trail and the hiking trail crosses.

For an easier hike the fire road is the best bet, but you will have to contend with the mountain bikers. For a more challenging hike the trail offers more elevation changes and better views. Either way on a clear day no matter what the name is you'll have a great view of downtown Los Angeles from here.

By the time my Belgian Malinois and I reached this cache, the last of the running club was already heading back down the hill and the mountain bikers were starting to appear. There was a cool breeze blowing, making for a perfect walk in the hills!
Thanks John. Happy caching!
PS - As Don mentioned in his log, the TB is gone; perhaps it should be marked as, "missing".

Morning Mist

 November 12 by Don_J (3238 found)
The weather is great, but the views are a bit hazy.
From the logbook, Craig Schoenbaum took TB on 1/1/09 and explained that he was taking it to another planet.

I hate when that happens.
Thanks John...
