markayla: What a difference a couple months makes. Was in the park today, and after seeing that MAP struck out on this hide, I feared the status. Well, today I looked and couldn't locate the container myself either. Since this cache has served its purpose, I've decided to open this spot up.

Geocache Description:

Wanatee was one of the first parks we explored when we moved to this area, so it's always been one of our favorite places. Since we all love them so much, we decided to place a little pine tree series of caches in the park.

We actually got this container from (dd) cache in Des Moines last year and unfortunately didn't get it placed till now. This is a standard pine tree hide.

Please do not park along the road, use one of the actual parking lots.
