Geocache Description:

Public park with lots of trees. Difficulty is because of reduced reception in general area of cache.

The Purple Gemini is a spore from the Biggeeks Central Coast Seedbank, which followed the eastern winds and landed in a Salinas City park. The cache is the twin of the "Shipwreck" Kelly cache placed by Touchstone, hence the name "Gemini." Purple is a favorite color and contained in the cache. Additional siblings (spores) will follow from the original cache. The cache contains a FTF "Golden Dollar" featuring Sacagawea and her baby boy Jean Baptista. Sacagawea was the indispensible Shoshone guide that aided the successful Lewis & Clark Exhibition west in the early 1800's. The original contents of the cache:- Log book- two pencils- Golden Dollar- two purple magnets- purle necklaceBe sure to bring something small and purple if you wish to leave something in the cache. Thanks to the Biggeeks and their Central Coast Seedbank for this spore.
