After two gruelling days hike in high heat from the Kliphuis
campsite at the top of Pakhuis Pass we reached the uniquely located
campsite at Vangstasie (literally: "Capture Station" - though there
is no sign of anything to catch, unless you count the very
territorial frog in the nearby pond!)
The location is about halfway between Pakhuis Pass and
Algeria.
The cache is hidden at the east base of a large rock. It is
covered by smaller rocks. The large rock is to the north of three
very large, prominent rocks on the ledge where the campsite is.
