coopjb: Access has become (reportedly) difficult due to changes in adjacent property ownership. Multiple reports suggest the BLM and private land owners have swapped parcels and the original public trailhead parking spot is now a private driveway. It’s time to archive. 20 years has been a good run.

Enjoy a panoramic view of the Elkhorn Mountain Range from atop a cluster of granite boulders.
Park at N 46 29.155 W 112 02.118 (WGS84). This location is marked as a public access trailhead. You can straight-line it if you choose, however, we recommend following established trails to minimize impact. Straight-line distance is 1.59 Statute Miles. Expect to scramble around and over a few granite boulders to get the cache. Not technical and there is no special climbing equipment needed. Cache elevation is 5,150 ft.
