HaLiJuSaPa: Per BriGuy's log, went to check on this, and not only was it gone (already?), but CITO'd an empty beer bottle and bag about 3 feet away. Not a good sign.

So with a heavy heart, we're archiving this one. It had a great run considering it all. Thanks to everyone who found this (and enjoyed the picture of a very young me and my dad!).

Geocache Description:

Nice park in the north central Bronx along the Bronx River.

We often pass this area when “Ju” and “Ha” get haircuts at Tommy the barber on the corner of White Plains Road and Burke Ave. This place does have some “historic” significance for the team; though he was born in nearby Mt. Vernon, the cache location is literally across the street from where “Ha” lived until he was 4 ½ and he has photos of him as a little boy at the playground and other places near the cache site ("a million years ago"....actually, see the photo link below). “Li” also lived nearby until she was 12 and fondly recalls sledding in this park on snowy winter days (whether we 'bumped into each other' unbeknowest back then is unknown, heh heh).

Cache is a log-only micro, a small plastic container in a ziploc baggie. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PEN OR PENCIL!!! Park on Bronx Blvd. and walk in. You can also take the "2" train to the 225th Street station and walk down the hill on 226th St. until it ends near the cache.

Cache is well hidden (but easy for most cachers to find), please be careful and re-hide as well or better than found! This cache has been muggled twice as a standard cache and so far as a log-only micro that doesn't contain anything but a log (even no writing instrument!), it has stayed here for the most part. Happy hunting!
