Deanshanger Pocket Park is situated in the valley of the River Ouse, only 2km north east of Milton Keynes. A large pond within the Pocket Park contains Great Crested Newts which are rare and legally protected. Native species hedgerows have been planted along the boundaries of the meadows, near to the old pollarded willows. The site is managed for nature conservation and public access and is used as an educational resource for both local schools and the Scouts.
This is a nano cache!
Suitability
The Pocket Park is accessible for wheelchair users. Please keep dogs on leads while sheep are grazing. Care should be taken due to deep water.
