This cache will take you through a lovely little village called
Swallowcliffe then proceeds into a countryside walk up onto Swallowcliffe, Prescombe
and Sutton Downs where there are pretty views to be admired.
Swallowcliffe has a great website that covers most aspects of the village, SEE
HERE.
The suggested parking location in the village is at The Royal Oak pub located @ 51°02.608N 002°03.094W.
THE HUNT:
First find a micro cache hidden in the grounds of St Peters (51°02.598N
002°03.176W). The micro cache is a small camouflaged container that holds
the co-ords for the next stage. Also... George G Blandford passed away in January
of which year? The answer is about 8 metres North-West of the micro. Take note
of this year date as ABCD.
Once you have the co-ord given by the micro and the year date,
make you way out of the village in south'ish direction via the country lane
(no footpath, beware of traffic). Or drive your car and park in the layby at
51°02.421N 002°02.545W which is beside the A30 and opposite the junction
where the walking geocachers will appear.
If walking, keep going until you reach a busy main road (A30).
Cross to the layby and walk left up the road a short distance (no footpath,
small grass verge, beware of traffic) until you reach the start of the track
leading up onto the Downs, the start of this is located at 51°02.450N 002°02.440W.
Proceed up the track and regardless of what the arrows say bare left when you
reach the fork at 51°02.415N 002°01.504W. Keep on this track and make
you way around to the co-ords given by the micro.
The coordinates given by the micro will locate a plaque. At the
bottom of the plaque are five alphanumeric in the form EFGHI.
The physical main cache is to be found at N51°01.(C)(D)(A+H)', W002°01.(B-I)(F-A)(B-G)'.
The main cache is a 2litre lockable type Tupperware box concealed
within a camouflage stash sack. The co-ords accuracy is within 5 metre.
Good Luck.
