Welcome to Sparta Glen. This is one of northwest New Jersey's great natural resources located in the center of Sparta, NJ. Here you will find interesting and varied terrain, great views and a lot of wildlife.
This cache will lead you to a mid-point on the mountain and a good spot to take a rest. It is not far off trail so if you haven't found the trail yet head about 50 feet east from this spot.
The name -- well, I am sitting here listening to Bob Rivers Christmas Carols and this was the name of the one that came on while I was filling out this form. I was struggling with a name and this one fit as it is likely to cause a few. Listen to the song to see what I mean.
Lots of goodies in the cache. Bring your camera and an understanding of what to do if you meet one of the locals (black bears) and you will have a great day exploring.
