Geocache Description:

TAKE WATER, LOTS OF WATER. No less than 2 Liters per person. Mt St Helena at the north end of the Napa Valley. Located at about 4000'. About a 3 mile walk. Would have set it higher than a 3, but saw a 60+ year old couple who made it up the Mt.

Views of the Napa Valley. On a clear day I have been able to see Mt Shasta, Mt Lassen, and the Marin coast line from this location. Along the way you will pass a mines and a popular rock climbing wall. It is about a 3+ mile hike. I did not check the distance. The cache is near a radio site (on same Mt top).

5 gallon white bucket container with a grey lid holds the cache. Nearby the cache site you can enjoy the views from an observation deck.

NOTE: Nearby can be VERY subjective. If the weather is bad or you get tired or if other things in the area have changed, they are completely out of my control. Please don't email me and complain as others have. Geocaching is an adventure enjoy it you could have been at work today instead.

Inside the container you'll find:

  • Red Sand Stone from Southern Utah
  • CD
  • Carabineer
  • 1 Meg sticks of Ram
  • Several other items
Pictures of cache site can be seen here.
