The cache is NOT at the listed coordinates. This cache pays homage
to the beginning of the game. You “can see where it
started”, sort of. Do you see it? That said, here is our
problem…..
It is total chaos!! Ever since the year 2000 there has been a
constant battle involving the North and the West. There have been
daily skirmishes. They hide EVERYWHERE! They hide in every state
and in every country. It is a never-ending battle. Combatants go
out as individuals, pairs and in small groups. And on some
occasions they get together in huge groups to help strategize. We
must JOIN together if we are to succeed. WHY? No sooner do you find
one of their hiding places you then discover there are two new ones
that must be revealed. WE MUST FIND THEM ALL!!!!!
Intelligence has reported that two new state groups have
collaborated to create a most challenging hiding place. We do not
know where the location is. All we do know is the members of the
groups.
The Northern coalition: North Dakota New Hampshire. Ohio South
Carolina
The Western coalition: Delaware Indiana Utah. Maryland New
Mexico
If we are to expose them all we must find what connects them. Seek
out the location. And then post a notice to all that one more
hiding place has been revealed. We know where the battle began
(There is a reminder near this secret location). And we may never
know where this battle will ultimately take us. But if we reflect
on where it has brought us to this point you will know where to
go.

February 8 by kimsjosh (555 found) I have been stareing at this in the middle of my happy faces for some time now. Finally tried my hand at these puzzles and after a mear 20-25 tries I hit on the right track. Interesting. Cache is doing well. TFTC.

August 23, 2009 by FlaXJer (1672 found) After getting a major hint on how to solve this puzzle, I managed to do so quickly. As I was standing there holding the cache in my hand I glanced at the GPSr and it read "0 feet". Wow! Now that's some accurate coords! Signed the log left by kablooey last month. Thanks for the hunt, Puzzleman.

July 18, 2009 by kablooey (10701 found) 22:10. I think found the cache. What else could I have possibly found? But the container I found didn't have a logsheet in it. I left a logsheet, but I'll change this to a DNF if the owner determines that I found some kind of false unlabeled red herring. {3/1.5m-puz,n,re}

July 4, 2009 by kablooey (10701 found) Had solved this cache back in February; so we stopped by, so that I could pick it up. It turned out that fireworks-watching muggles were stationed inconveniently for a hunt; so I had to skip this one for this trip. {3/1.5u-puz,gr}
