The cache is located off of Fish Factory Road, just steps from a park with playground equipment, plenty of parking, and washrooms. Please note that the park is only open from dawn to dusk.

The cache contains a logbook and pen and some trade items. Please make sure that it is replaced as found. In our absence from this area, the cache will be maintained by Grin N Bear it. Since we started geocaching, we have enjoyed many visits to this area, and met many wonderful people, and decided it was our turn to place a cache here.

Mom and Dad owned a lot on Long Beach for many years. They sold it in their later years. Now I think the whole area is called Oak Island.

Thanks for the nice ammo box hide! SL!

Well Coach and I are back in Myrtle Beach for the winter and it sure is nice to be back. We had a luncheon date with Grin N Bear it, Sailingbev and Baby Bear, who is no longer a baby, on Oak Island today so we figured we would clean up the rest of the caches there that we hadn't done yet. We did a few caches before we met them for lunch and then did the last one after lunch and it was great to see them again and we had a wonderful lunch. Leave it to our dear Canadian friends to put out this cache. We can't wait til they get down here so we can go caching together. We found the cache, signed the log and replaced it as found. TFTC
