Sutton Lake is 107 acres in size and appears as two lakes connected by a short channel. Most of the shoreline is in private ownership except for the western shore, which bounded by Hwy 101 and a Forest service day-use area with boat ramp.
Sutton Lake is located 5.5 miles north of Florence, Oregon just east of Highway 101.
Fish Species: Yellow perch, largemouth bass, some cutthroat trout, annually stocked with rainbow trout
Fishing Methods: Spin, Bait Angling Season: Spring, Summer, Fall.
Campgrounds: Sutton Campground is located west of Hwy 101 near Sutton Lake. It has 81 tent/trailers sites, water, and flush toilets. The campground is open all year and accesses the lake via a short trail. Alder Dune Campground, located about 1 mile north on Hwy 101, has 39 tent/trailer sites, water, and flush toilets and is open from May through September. Baker Beach Campground is located about 2 miles north on Hwy 101 and has 5 tent sites.
