South Table Mesa has a variety of trails that are enjoyed by both hikers and mountain bikers. To get to this cache you can use one of many trail heads but I started from the NREL parking lot. From there the cache is .63 miles away with an elevation gain of just over 300 feet - almost all of it at the start of the trail. Please keep in mind that this is rattlesnake country and there is no shade or water up there so plan accordingly. The cache is an ammo can with a log book, pen and pencil, and a variety of trading items. Enjoy! 12/09/2017 Replaced with a larger pill bottle
