Geocache Description:

An easy cache at a secret trail entrance.

After spending several months and countless hikes up steep trails to place some tough multi-caches in the hills of Santa Teresa County Park, I decided to put an easy cache at a trail entrance. This is a good one for a quick lunchtime grab or for entry-level cachers. The location is a secret entrance to the park trails. It's actually a service road, but it is OK to use it as a trail. It leads to the foot of the Coyote Peak Trail. It is the closest trailhead to the Coyote Peak Shady Rest and Rest on Your Laurels caches. It is at the end of the parking lot for the Santa Teresa Golf Course Driving Range. You can park your car and grab the cache in a minute, then keep going caching deeper in the park. Or, you can come here to do a little caching after a round of golf. Watch out for flying golf balls, especially if Tiger Woods is practicing. You may see a few golf balls lying around nearby, so it is possible to get hit by one. No need to go into the driving range proper. The cache is right next to the trail. It is a mini M&M's container with logsheet and golf pencil. There's not much room for trading items unless they are very small. The cache location appears to be wheelchair-accessible.
