The Gang was out picking up a few caches in one of our favorite areas on a beautiful spring day. We have passed by this sign many times and today took the time to check it out a bit. Gumtree Corner Wildlife Management Area is 775 acres in both Salem and Cumberland counties.
From the looks of the vicinity near this parking spot the trail is overgrown with little accessibility. What with all the ticks and poison ivy we’ve picked up already this spring we decided to make this a WMA cache and dash. Why, heck Lava won’t even need to get out of his truck!
You are looking for a Flattie. You may want to bring some tweezers along. Also, be careful, there is some poison ivy in the area. Make sure and take time to check out some of the stunning views of the Bay area.
