Indiana Jones cache #32. (The rest are in OK and NM).
Texas 1937
This little excursion had gone fine thus far. Indiana Jones was researching the ancient peoples of the American Southwest as well as gathering further clues that might lead him to his life-long obsession, the Cross of Francisco Vasquez de Coronado, confiscated from his possession by "the man in the Panama hat" in Utah shortly after his thirteenth birthday. He had spent the last two days in Palo Duro Canyon, south of Amarillo. Now, he was on his way to New Mexico to survey the ancient petroglyphs west of Albuquerque and the ruins of Kuaua to the north. Indiana planned to finish his circuit with the Puebloan dwellings of Chaco Canyon in northwestern New Mexico and Mesa Verde in southern Colorado before returning to his classes at Marshall College. That was the plan . . . until he heard her cries for help . . . and discovered what was in the little green box she had in her possession. Sometimes the greatest adventures are not planned....
Miles of road got you down? Need a little adventure and a stretch of the legs, free from the prying eyes of muggles? Hoping to discover exotic treasure from other places? Then stop here at Exit #15--easy access off and on I-40 going either direction!
I've always noticed this exit on my travels and wanted to stop. This was the trip. Lots of, shall we say, "intriguing" items on the ground here. What do you think happened?
This gives my friends and I something to tend to as we often travel between Oklahoma City and Albuquerque. You are welcome to share, and any extra maintenance help is appreciated! Please:
1. Before you leave, take the time to log TBs and geocoins when you place one or pick one up. Keep the inventory current!
2. Take time to seal the log and smaller TBs and coins in the ziplock baggie, and seal the container tightly to keep out the rain for others to enjoy for a long time.
Thank you for looking for my cache, and remember, if adventure has a name, it must be Indiana Jones!
