Parking is available at the Loveland Reservoir parking lot.
The parking area is open only from Dawn to Sunset. The
California Riding and Hiking Trail begins near N 32° 48.013 W 116°
45.633.
There is no parking available along Japatul Valley Road and from
the signs, I think they are serious.
