The GPS had great reception and the posted coordinates should put you right on top of the cache.
From the location of the cache, you will have a great view of several Lewiston landmarks.
The Lewiston Armory = In the past, this venue had been used for graduations, circuses, and concerts. The J Geils Band, Kansas, and Queen all performed at the Lewiston Armory.
The Lewiston High School = The present Lewiston Middle School served as the cities's high school until 1973.
Lewiston Athletic Park = Until a sports complex was built at the Franklin Pasture (the site of the present Lewiston High School), L.A.P. was the home of the Lewiston Blue Devils football team, baseball team, soccer team, and track team. During the summer months, marching band and drum and bugle corps competitions where held on the football field. It is now used for middle school sports and is the home of the Fly Football League.
