Come one Come all to the Team KardiAss Spring Fling!!!
The Spring Fling will be held Saturday, May 15th at the Picnicana Pavillion in Summit Township (near Erie, PA). (Sorry Alpha Wolf and Zoisrus, but no dogs are allowed on the park property, bummer!)
A donation of $5.00 per adult and $3.00 per child is requested to help defray the costs of the pavillion rental and food.
Coonass will don the chef’s hat for the occasion. He has told me that his menu will include his “world-famous” chili, jambalaya, BBQ Chicken, sausage, burgers, and all the fixings.
There will be a Chinese auction, free tickets to those who donate an item. More info on this soon.
There will be 3 NEW physical caches to log that day, plus the event cache. The co-ords for the cache hidden by Team KardiAss will be supplied at the daytime event. Clues for the Coonass cache and the MsKardiac cache can be obtained during the event cache itself. These co-ords won't be availible on the GeoCaching site until May 16th. There are also many existing caches nearby for anyone new to the area that you may want to find before or after the event.
This will be a race/rally type event, with a specific time frame (1-5pm) to complete your caching and objectives. Be there no later than 12:45 to receive your instructions . You may come after 1pm but this will put you at a disadvantage.
This can be done as an individual, but getting together as a group will be advantageous. Group size is limited to however many cachers you can fit into one vehicle (i.e team stays and works together).
Prizes to be awarded to the cacher(s) who complete the most objectives within the given time frame.
Afterwards, the fun continues! The Team KardiAss Pub Crawl will take place at Doc Holliday's (N 42° 04.334 W 80° 02.467). We tried to list this as a separate event cache but it did not get approved. Check out Doc Holliday's website at www.dochollidays.net for their menu, bands, etc. The festivities will begin around 8pm. We have a room set aside in the back, and we're told that there should be a band there that night. See you there!!
