O megalitismo da Beira Alta não é circunscrito à sua região administrativa, extendendo-se também a uma parte da Beira Litoral, o distrito de Aveiro, com cerca de 120 monumentos identificados, é o mais rico depois do distrito de Viseu, com cerca de 300 monumentos, formando com ele uma verdadeira zona megalítica, a mais importante concentração megalítica da região
centro. Esse modelo de necropolização contrasta com a dispersão dos monumentos dos distritos da Guarda, onde 30 foram inventariados, e do distrito de Coimbra, onde se conhecem 7, no curso superior do Alva.
Trata-se de um monumento megalítico de câmara poligonal alargada e corredor longo. A câmara era composta por nove esteios, mas actualmente conta apenas com oito. Por seu lado, o corredor apresenta quinze esteios, nove do lado norte e seis do lado sul. A laje de cobertura foi destruída há alguns anos, para ser aproveitada na construção de uma represa. O corredor encontra-se parcialmente coberto por duas lajes. Existe uma laje que deverá corresponder à cobertura da entrada de câmara. Na pedra da cabeceira existe uma figura esculpida.

O acesso pode ser feito: a Norte, na EN16, vindo de Viseu, virar à esquerda na estrada Municipal em direcção à Lobagueira, até ao ponto referenciado como parque; A Sul, a partir da EN337-1,vindo de Viseu, virar à direita em direcção Lobagueira e apanhar a estrada Municipal até ao ponto referenciado como parque.
A cache não está escondida na Anta, por isso não devem ser removidas as pedras da mesma.

The megalithic monuments in Beira Alta region, extendendo itself also to a part of the Beira Litoral, the district of Aveiro, with about 120 identified monuments, is richest after the district of Viseu, with about 300 monuments, forming with it a true megalithic zone, the most important megalithic concentration of the region center. This model contrasts with the dispersion of monuments of the districts of Guarda, where 30 had been inventoried, and of the district of Coimbra, where if they know 7, in the superior course of the Alva river.
One is about a megalithic monument of long polygon and running widened chamber. The chamber was composed for nine piles, but currently it counts only on eight. For its side, the corridor presents fifteen piles, nine of the side north and six of the south side. The covering flagstone was destroyed has some years, to be used to advantage in the construction of a dam. The corridor meets covered by two flagstone partially. A flagstone exists that will have to correspond to the covering of the chamber entrance. In the rock of the headboard a sculptured figure exists.

The access can be made: by North, in the EN16, coming from Viseu, turn left in the city road direct to Lobagueira, until the park point; by South, from the EN337-1, coming from Viseu, turn right direct to Lobagueira until the park point.
Cache is not hidden in the monument, therefore the rocks of the same one do not have to be removed.
