Geocache Description:

A short walk from Osborn Point on Forest Service Road 3350, You're looking for a standard .30cal/7.62 ammo can.

UPDATE: This cache has a new owner! We plan to take really good care of this cache, since we are placing another cache nearby and live within 10 miles (as the crow flies). Osborne Point is a great little spot and this is a great cache and we hope to do it justice in the time to come.

This is an incredibly beautiful spot, good for a picnic with a loved one or to just get away from the insanity of driving I-90 with the rest of the crazies!

FS road 3350 is very well maintained, passable for most vehicles except sport cars. (We got there in our Dodge Caravan in the summertime. I wouldn't want to attempt this road in the winter without 4wd/snowmobiles). Plan 45 min to one hour ONE WAY travel time once you leave the pavement near South Cle Elum.

UPDATE: FR 3350 on the Taneum side (marked with a CEDAR CR sign) is impassable by anything but high clearance 4x4s, at least last time I checked. If you have a car or minivan your best bet is to take the long way from Peoh Point over to the Taneum. Otherwise the drive up from the CEDAR CR sign is pretty... Interesting... to say the least. See my gallery, this page: Page 6 and this page: Page 7 to see what the road going down to Taneum Creek from Osborne Point looked like last time we were up there.

No hints on this one! So take a few moments to gaze upon the serenity of the landscape and listen to the rushing water in Taneum Creek, 1100 feet below you, to clear your mind. Be the cache!

Happy Hunting!
