Although I was born too late to have ever enjoyed riding on the Ma & Pa Railroad, my parents would tell me stories about it from their youth. This cache is placed on the Harford County side of the bridge that once spanned the Little Gunpowder River and which the train would cross between Baltimore and Harford Counties. The tracks and railroad ties no longer exist, but the supports for the old bridge are still standing tall.
