Old School | Playin Hooky in a HOLE! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

labrat_wr: it is a sad day but a day that was inevitable as all good things must come to an end...

This cache has survived many years and racked up 25 favorite points that were well deserved. I have been fortunate enough to have adopted this one a few years ago from the original owner Seldom|Seen and had tried to keep it as close to the original as possible.

for those who found it in its original format will well remember the Magic Schoolbus TB needed to complete the electromagnet used to extract the cache from the depths of the hole.
When that TB was retired, getting at the cache took on a whole new profile with some fishing it out with sticks and some descending into the hole to grab it by hand.

While this one was active, it was actually not within the Hartman Creek State Park borders and that is where its final downfall was as there are newly posted No Trespassing signs posted right up to the park border and a quick recon of the hole came up empty for the cache.

Thanks to all that visited and perhaps this archive will result in a new cache on this end of the park.

This was formerly "Schoolhouse Rock" when it was placed for the 2007 WGA Campout. It is returning in a slightly more tricky form to make it a little more fun to get.

You should be able to figure out where this one is hidden relatively quickly, given the warning on the page. Getting the cache is another matter altogether. Be resourceful or daring and you shouldn't have a problem.
