dopo oltre un mese dalla mia ultima nota, non ho ricevuto alcuna risposta.

Per questa ragione sono costretto ad archiviare questo cache. Se non lo hai ancora fatto, per favore raccogli ogni resto del cache al più presto possibile.
Se avete intenzione di intervenire sul cache, una volta completata l'operazione per favore lasciatemi un messaggio con il numero waypoint GC relativo al cache. Sarò più che lieto di verificare nuovamente il cache per verificare la sua conformità con le linee guida.

after more than one month from my last note I have not receive any answer and no action has been taken on the cache. For this reason, I am archiving it. If you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.
If you are going to fix the problems connected to this cache, once it is ready please drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache. I will be more than happy to take a look at your cache again to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

Nella primavera del 2010, dopo 10 anni dall’Ostensione del Giubileo, la Sindone sarà nuovamente esposta nel Duomo di Torino dal 10 aprile al 23 maggio. La Sindone è un lenzuolo di lino tessuto a spina di pesce delle dimensioni di circa m. 4,41 x 1,13, contenente la doppia immagine accostata per il capo del cadavere di un uomo morto in seguito ad una serie di torture culminate con la crocefissione. L'immagine è contornata da due linee nere strinate e da una serie di lacune: sono i danni dovuti all'incendio avvenuto a Chambéry nel 1532. Secondo la tradizione si tratta del Lenzuolo citato nei Vangeli che servì per avvolgere il corpo di Gesù nel sepolcro.
Questa tradizione, anche se ha trovato numerosi riscontri dalle indagini scientifiche sul Lenzuolo, non può ancora dirsi definitivamente provata

The Shroud
In the spring of 2010, just ten years after the Exposition in the jubilee year, the Holy Shroud will once again be on display in the Cathedral of Torino starting on 10 April to 23 May and also Pope Benedict XVI will be there to revere it. The Pope will be in Turin Sunday 2 May 2010 The Shroud is a linen sheet whose weave is a herringbone pattern made in the ancient Egypt manner before Christ. It measures 442 cm long by 113 cm high plus a 8 cm strip sewed lengthwise. On the tissue there is a faint impression of an image, the frontal and dorsal one of a man who suffered the death of crucifixion. It’s a “sudarium” or shroud and the image distinctive characteristic is of being like one of a negative film. «Sindón» is a greek name and can be found in the synoptic Gospels about the burial of Jesus. In the latin version of the New Testament «Síndon», from which the italian «Sindone» derives, has been transliterated. In greek and latin the use of this name is really wide indicating a piece of sheet that can be both raw and already ready-made for a specific purpose. Its italian meaning is considerably restricted: the use applied to the «funeral cloth» kept in the Turin Cathedral is practically almost exclusive.

Saint Suaire

Au printemps 2010, 10 ans après l’Ostension du Jubilé, le Suaire sera de nouveau exposé dans le Dôme de Turin, du 10 avril au 23 mai. Le Suaire est un linceul de lin tissé en chevron mesurant environ 4,41m x 1,13m, qui contient la double image, l’image frontale et l’image dorsale se joignant par la tête, du cadavre d’un homme nu mort à la suite d’une série de tortures ayant culminé avec le crucifiement. L’image est entourée de deux lignes noires qui sont des traces de brûlure, et d’une série de lacunes : ce sont les dommages provoqués par l’incendie qui se produisit à Chambéry en 1532. Selon la tradition, il s’agit du Linceul, cité par les Evangiles, qui servit à envelopper le corps de Jésus au tombeau. Bien que les recherches scientifiques en aient trouvé de nombreux éléments de confirmation, cette tradition ne peut être tenue pour démontrée définitivement. Il est certain par contre que le Suaire, en raison des caractéristiques de son empreinte, renvoie directement et immédiatement à la dramatique réalité de la Passion de Jésus, qu’il aide à comprendre et à méditer.
