Geocache Description:

Relatively steep ascent, and loose ground close to the cache

This cache is situated about 30m off the summit of Caer Caradoc, a distinctive peak close to Church Stretton in Shropshire.

The cache itself is a small tupperware type box, and it has limited space for goodies.

The view from the top of Caer Caradoc is excellent on a good day, and this cache lends itself to a circular walk around and over Caer Caradoc, rather than a "there and back" visit. I will not give suggestions here - I just suggest you look at an OS map as there are a number of alternatives.

There are various parking opportunities, including a number of laybys on the A49.

Caer Caradoc is a relatively steep peak, and the cache itself is positioned off the summit, on relatively loose ground. Our 6 & 8 yr old kids had no problems though.
