A no-frills meet-greet-and-chat event in Oneonta's Neahwa Park.
Seeing as our last no-frills event seemed to go over pretty well, I thought it might be a nice thing to do to celebrate summer, too!
This will be held three days after the official turn to summer!
I know, too, that it's high school graduation day for many area schools, so if you're all jammed up with parties and such, maybe you can stop here and grab a cache for the day before you head out and visit all the graduates you need to see!
If you aren't worried about ceremonies and graduation parties, stop here to rest for a bit, grab an event cache and chat for a bit.
As this is no-frills, we'll not be having food or anything. However, there are picnic tables, so feel free to bring your food and eat while you chat with other cachers!
EVENT DETAILS:
Date: June 23
Time: 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. (or later?)
This event will be held rain or shine (for the most part). IF the weather is really bad, check here the morning of the event and see for an announcement. If it's awful, we'll postpone to the rain date of June 24, same place, same time.
Dog note -- because I've noticed more people caching with pooches and mentioned that to some of the park people, they reminded me to tell cachers that dogs are welcome in the park, but they must be on a leash at all times!
