Geocache Description:

This cache was placed whilst enjoying the last of the setting sun on "Longest Day" 2005.
It is a scenic cache in a quiet location with a longish walk which may be extended to cover more of this interesting area. you are looking for a truly gargantuan box!
My piccis were taken around 9:00 to 9:30 PM!!

Part of the Multicache Miners' Trail - see below.

This is a part of a multi-cache

GC1D7AE - Miners' Trail

Whilst walking around here, the visitor may encounter curlew, snipe, lapwing, hawks, owls, wheatear, bunny rabbits and the occasional two- or four-wheeled infernal combustible machine. Come and enjoy the area as I have done on many occasions during the last forty-odd years, but leave it calm and tranquil for my next visit - it is my oasis and eden after a day stuck in the office!
(At times you may want to keep your smaller family members close to hand as some of the relics can be a tad dangerous).

This cache contains the coordinates for Miners' Trail 9 - The Rock and the seventh part of the coordinates for Miners' Trail 10 - the Final.
